Voted #1 Farmers Market in NJ!

It’s been a few weeks since we were crowned 2024 New Jersey’s BEST Farmers Market, and we’re still tingling with excitement!

From June 1 – July 31, 2024, the 16th annual America’s Farmers Market Celebration with American Farmland Trust, showcased the essential farmers markets across the nation making a difference for farmers, ranchers, and communities.

Since 2008, the America’s Farmers Market Celebration has highlighted the important role farmers markets play in communities across the nation while celebrating the farmers, staff, and volunteers that make markets happen. While they’ve long served as pillars of local food in urban centers and town squares, in recent years, farmers markets have gained the national recognition they deserve as essential businesses that power farmers and communities to thrive.

As much as we would’ve loved to win #1 Farmers Market in the nation 😉, we are over the moon to have been voted #1 in New Jersey! And it’s all thanks to you!

Our market has come a long way since its first season 18 years ago.

We have grown more than we ever thought possible, with our market family expanding immensely.

If you visit us every Saturday, you know what makes our market different from the rest, and we’re very proud of that.

We’re a working farm.

We’re a community. We are relationships that form between farm and family.

We are picnics on the grass. Seeing families enjoying their market finds, sipping on some ice-cold iced teas, and catching some shade under the trees puts a smile on our faces.

We’re community gardens, where locals can rent a plot of land to grow fruits, veggies and beautiful flowers.

We’re culinary gardens. The flowers and herbs you see growing outside of the farmhouse are used as a staple in all the culinary classes hosted at the Farmhouse.

We’re live music. Every Saturday, you can jam out with the live bands that put rhythm in our feet.

We’re also free Cooking Demos every Saturday at 10 am in the Farmhouse. These demos focus on what’s in season and what you can find at the market. So, after feeling inspired by the cooking demo you just watched, enjoying a bite, head out and support local!

We’ve been Burlington County Farmers Market for 18years and we’re going to go 180 more years.
