Tamara's Pizza Dough

A sure-fire quick dough recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ c flour
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 package active dry yeast 2 ½ tsp
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour and salt in a bowl.
  • In separate bowl combine yeast, sugar, and water. Allow yeast to bloom until foamy.
  • Combine yeast mixture with flour mixture and olive oil until the dough comes together in a shaggy ball.
  • Knead three to five minutes, adding more flour if necessary. The dough should be slightly tacky, and not sticky.
  • Set aside and let dough rise for 30 minutes.
  • Stretch and form dough onto a pan or pizza stone.
  • Spread with toppings of your choice.
  • Bake at 425 until golden brown.
