Lemon Honey and Thyme Throat Coat Syrup
A soothing throat coat for a winter and for allergies.

Ingredients
- A handful of fresh thyme sprigs
- 2 cups of water
- 1/2 cup of honey raw is best
- 1/2 lemon quartered
Instructions
- Place your lemon pieces in a pint jar and top with honey just to cover. The honey will macerate the lemons, drawing out the flavor and juices.
- Toss the thyme leaves in a pan and add the water. Bring to a boil then lower to a simmer and cook until liquid is reduced by half.
- When the tea is reduced, strain it and cool. When cool add it to the pint jar and stir well.
- Give it a shake and use a spoonful as needed to soothe an irritated thraot.
- Store your homeamde throat coat in the refrigerator for about a month.
