Kids in the Garden: Lucky Yellow Goldfinch

Did you know that the goldfinch is a symbol of joy, good luck and happiness?

Come to the Farmhouse Garden for this fun and educational nature session where you will learn about New Jersey’s state bird, the American Goldfinch. We’ll play the migration survival game, craft a bird feeder to take home, and make and taste delicious sun butter!

This 90-minute make and play class is suitable for children between 5 and 10 years old. We will be outside, and if weather does not cooperate, we will move into the barn or the farmhouse.
