Kids in the Garden: Chomp, Chomp, Carnivorous Plants!

As part of our Kids in the Garden sessions, Miss Mindy presents a four-week series of classes on plants!

Chomp, Chomp, Carnivorous Plants! Learn about common carnivorous plants and how they live. Catch “bugs” like a Venus flytrap in a puppet game, wear big catcher vests to catch “bugs” like a sundew. We’ll play a pitcher plant game and an aquatic carnivorous plant game. And we’ll make a Venus fly trap puppet to take home.

We will be outdoors, weather permitting, and have indoor space in case of inclement weather. Mindy’s classes are designed as drop off classes, but each ticket includes a supervising adult if you are more comfortable staying.

We encourage you to sign up for all four classes in the series, but it is not mandatory.
