Make your own elderberry syrup to bottle and take it home to help heal you throughout the season. During class we'll discuss alternative ways to use the syrup other than just straight up, and we'll make a lemon thyme throat coat to soothe the irritated throats that come with seasonal allergies.

Elderberries have been used for medicinal purposes for generations. Learn to make this well-known folk remedy for boosting the immune system to fight off illness and get well quickly. Elderberries are the fruit from the Sambucus nigra plant. They contain antioxidants (specifically anthocyanidins), antivirals, and nourishing vitamins such as Vitamin A, Fiber, Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Vitamin C, and Folate. You will make your own elderberry syrup to bottle and take it home to help heal you throughout the season.
During class we’ll discuss alternative ways to use the syrup other than just straight up. While our syrup is steeping, we’ll make a lemon thyme throat coat to soothe the irritated throats that come with seasonal allergies.
