The Annual Holiday Market this past Saturday, on December 7th, was the perfect way to close out this year’s market season!

The event was everything we hoped for and more. From the very start, the community came out in full force, eager to get a jumpstart on holiday shopping, and picking up the last of the seasonal produce while enjoying the warmth of the season. The market buzzed with energy, as over 40 talented artists and crafters filled the space with their unique, handmade goods. From beautiful jewelry to stunning pottery, woodcrafts, and woven textiles, the market was a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind gifts. Shoppers had the chance to find something special for everyone on their list, all while supporting local artisans who pour their hearts into their creations.

2024 Annual Holiday Market Recap!

Of course, at the center of the event were our Ag vendors, who brought their December’s best to the market. Black Sheep Farms, Cranberry Hall Farms, Fernbrook Farms, Durr’s Blue Box Produce and Pinelands Produce offered a wide array of fresh winter fruits and vegetables. Farm-fresh meats, local honey and artisan cheeses from Cherry Grove Farm and Misty Meadow Sheep Dairy, Mill Creek Apiary and Little Hooves Romneys were a hit. There was no shortage of delicious options for stocking up for the long winter ahead.

Foodies also found happiness at the market, where local food vendors offered steaming bowls of hot soups and sandwiches—perfect for warming up on a chilly December day. For a sweet treat, visitors sipped on hot tea from Tea-For-All or rich, velvety hot chocolate from Harvest Coffee, all while enjoying the music of JB Rocks. The melodies added a festive backdrop, making it a delightful experience for all who attended.

For those in search of even more seasonal charm, Durr’s Blue Box Produce offered beautiful live wreaths and centerpieces—ideal for decorating homes for the holidays. Whether you were looking to spruce up your dining room or add a festive touch to your front door, these handmade pieces were the perfect way to bring holiday cheer into your home.

2024 Annual Holiday Market Recap!

And of course, no holiday market would be complete without a special visit from Mrs. Claus! The kids (and adults alike) gathered around as she read heartwarming stories in the farmhouse at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. And, for those eager for a photo op, Mrs. Claus made her rounds, posing for pictures with visitors.

With our season officially over, the Annual Holiday Market provided a wonderful final opportunity for everyone to stock up on their essentials, say so long to their favorite vendors,  and enjoy the festive spirit of the season. From seasonal produce to handmade gifts, from live music to cozy moments shared with friends and family, the event was a beautiful celebration of community, creativity, and the joys of the holiday season.

The market was an unforgettable success, and we are beyond grateful for everyone who joined us to make it special. It’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to the season, but the memories we’ve created together will last long after the final market day of the year. Until next time, we wish everyone a warm and wonderful holiday season! Thank you for another year of supporting local!
